3D Printing Product Designer Specializing In Assistive And Rehabilitation Tools
Hi, I'm Alex from Tryspire. I develop assistive and rehabilitation tools for 3D printing that are free and open source, released under a non-commercial license.
I'm self-taught in CAD and product development. I start by putting myself in the shoes of someone who needs the device, then design and release openly. Real user feedback drives refinement. I work with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to validate what actually works. I also take on custom design commissions and use 3D scanning (Revopoint) for bespoke, custom-fit solutions.
Working with clinicians, makers, and the community to build tools that actually work.
Got a problem? Let's Tryspire it.

A knee-to-wall test board designed to bring more consistency to ankle dorsiflexion measurement, with a two-sided insert that acts as both a precision guide and a gentle physical foot indicator.
A stackable petal-based assessment tool designed to bring more consistency to thumb opposition measurement, with removable petals that make progress visible and tactile.
